Interested in joining the Clarksville Adult Baseball League?
Here is what to expect if you are interested in playing for the Clarksville Adult Baseball League.
Player Evaluations:
Player Evaluations are held in early to mid-March before each season starts in May. Player Evaluations are for interested new players and existing CABL players who are interested in joining another CABL team after their existing roster commitment term has ended.
During the player evaluations gloves and bats will be provided. Attendance is not mandatory at the player evaluations to join the CABL. Instructions on how to join the CABL without participating in the Player Evaluations will be posted on our Facebook page as we approach the evaluations date.

Player Registration and League Fees:
All CABL players are required to complete the player registration form, liability waiver and pay their league fees in order to be eligible to play in the league.
Clarksville Adult Baseball League fees for the 2024 Season are $350.

League Fees will cover the cost of the following:
– Baseball Field Rental and Field Maintenance.
– Umpires Fees
– (2) Jerseys, Hat, Socks, and Belts are included in the league fee.
(**Each player is expected to provide their own home and away baseball pants and baseball cleats**)
– Equipment including: Helmets and Baseballs
The CABL Draft:
The CABL Draft will take place after the Player Registration and League Fee deadline. The player registration and league fee payment deadline are requested by the end of March. Once a player has completed their player registration and league fee payment the Team Head Coach will draft their rosters prior to the start of the season. Returning players will return to the team they were on the previous season unless they have been traded (view trading policy). The League Draft is usually held on the second Sunday of April. First year players should be contacted by their team coach, by no later than the day following the CABL Draft.
Roster Commitment: Once added to a team’s roster, a player is bound to that team for two (2) years and is not permitted to join another team’s roster without approval of being traded by their team manager. After two (2) years, a player may re-enter the draft process.
Trading Policy: Head Coaches may discuss with other team head coaches potential trades. If a trade is approved by the league president, Christopher Broadrick the traded player will immediately be added to the new team’s roster and removed from their prior team’s roster. THE TRADE DEADLINE IS THE END OF THE THIRD (3) WEEK OF THE SEASON.
